The 2018 FNCE Conference was held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. This was my first time at FNCE and I cannot wait to attend next year!

At MD-DHCC's Spring Workshop we were provided the opportunity to present our abstracts and a group presentation on “Informatics Update-3D Printing of Puree Food PLUS More.” 

As a volunteer at the Global Digital Health Forum held at FHI 360's conference center, I helped with registration, note-taking within each session, and IT management. ​It was a great opportunity meeting many of the presenters and learning more about the global digital health movement. 

At DCMAND's Annual Meeting I presented my abstract on "The Efficacy of Diabetes Health Coaching in the Wellness Corporate Setting" and won the award for the Best Project/Program. 

The National Food Policy Conference

opened my eyes to the need for advocates of food waste, food insecurity, and sustainability.
